Gale LeBlanc

CGC Architectural Representative, Gale LeBlanc, is a passionate champion of design education whose multiple design credentials include a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design from The University of Manitoba, NCIDQ certification, Certified Technical Representative (CTR/CSC) and LEED Green Associate status. She is a recent recipient of USG's President’s Club award, presented to an elite group of high performers within the USG/CGC group. Gale is a core member of CGC's Canada-wide architectural team, empowered to deliver a range of education presentations and technical industry briefings focusing on acoustical ceilings and gypsum assemblies. She is a volunteer Industry Member at Large with the Interior Designers of Alberta (IDA) Executive Board, and volunteer Executive member with Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) Calgary Chapter, representing Architecture.

Stephanie Fargas

DIALOG Specifier, Stephanie Fargas, specializes in sustainable product research and building science through the development of project specifications, product research and acting as a liaison between consultants. She also led the research and development of specifications for DIALOG’s first project seeking Living Building Challenge Certification and LEED ® Platinum. Stephanie has served as a Guest Lecturer at Conestoga College and George Brown College. She has been a member of Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) since 2006 and has earned a Chapter Award of Merit both in Calgary (2015) and Toronto (2012). Her work with CSC has often included the organization and presentation of CSC courses in Calgary. She currently serves as the CSC Calgary Chapter Chair and Education Committee Chair.

Acorn Design Concepts Principal, Kirsten Janes is an alumnist of both Mount Royal University and SAIT where she earned her Diploma of Interior Design, Principles of Construction Documentation certificate and completed an AutoCAD upgrading course. She has held various management positions within a number of Calgary-based architectural design firms over the past 20 years. Kirsten is a passionate and driven leader. She works effectively and makes every effort to help ensure both projects and the organization as a whole run smoothly and pleasantly. Kirsten’s exceptionally strong desire to contribute to the welfare of others inspires the team to take time to learn from each other, to listen to those around them, and to give of themselves. She volunteers on BOMA’s Government Relations’ Committee, Accessible Housing’s Policy Committee and on Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) Calgary Chapter, representing Interior Design.
